The Rest Sessions: Chill Yoga to Flow Into Fall

A gentle yoga and breathwork series for BIPOC* to feel grounded and at ease during seasons of transition.

 

Fall is a time for slowing down and letting go as we transition from one season to the next. Join the calm/cool collective in supporting your mind, body and spirit during seasons of change with relaxation practices to feel more rooted, supported, and nourished.

 

Using a series of yoga, breathwork, and self-reflection practices, we’ll find the balance between grounding and releasing during periods of change.

 

Guided by four dynamic practitioners in a supportive community, we’ll restore energy and nourish ourselves during the process of closing one chapter and starting anew.

 

Sep. 22nd | Inner Harvest: Restorative yoga to reflect, release and recalibrate

Combining slow, dynamic movement with restful, supportive holds, this class invites us to flow through seasons of change with reverence, peace, and ease. Guided by Shakeelah Sutton.

Sep. 29th | Root and Release: Guided Breathwork Journey with Neosoul

This soothing breathwork session offers a space to root deeply and release gently. By focusing on grounding techniques and intentional breathing and journaling, we’ll cultivate stability and ease, allowing you to navigate the transitions of fall with clarity and grace. Guided by Anameti Usoro.

Oct. 6th | Restored and Renewed: Calming Yoga Nidra for Healing and Rest

Carve out time in your day for nourishing rest with a healing Yoga Nidra practice intended to bring us to deeper states of awareness of our whole being as we move into and embrace a new season. During this session we’ll gently stretch to soften and prepare our bodies for a calming and restorative Yoga Nidra practice. This session will conclude with time for journaling and reflection to integrate our experience. Guided by Catherine Miller.
Oct. 13th | Transition with Ease: Slow Flow + Restorative Yoga to Embrace Relaxation

Relax the mind, body and spirit as we welcome in this new season with gentleness and compassion. By exploring various practices (hatha yoga, restorative yoga, and meditation), we will create a space of rest and relaxation. Guided by Nikki Lawrence.
