PRIDE: Crip Art Residency - Crip. an exhibition

Crip used to be under the name of “disabled (殘疾)” in the Chinese language. This exhibition sees a new possibility of reclaiming Crip in the context as ䷪kyut3 (夬), the 43rd hexagram of I-Ching. Whereas 夬bears a meaning of being damaged, ䷪ is the hexagram of breakthrough. 夬, a root of multiple Chinese characters – 決玦訣抉缺, generates diverse understandings and infinite potentials amongst imperfections.
