UNHEARD: Live Performance by ek (Kalun Leung & Emilie Fortin)

Ek makes its debut in Hong Kong with its music theatre project that reflects the city's vibrant soundscape and daily life. Through a combination of mime, foley art, and the duo's instrumentation of trumpet and trombone, Ek will present improvisational vignettes using a sound-gesture technique they developed in Québec, Canada. The duo's experimental approach in exploring the intersection of disciplines has resulted in the amplification of new sounds and ideas that would otherwise have been unheard.
